STEERING INTO THE MOTORCYCLE SHOW 2006 COULD REV UP SPONSORS' CAMPAIGNS
The International Motorcycle and Scooter Show is firmly established as the premier annual motorcycle exhibition in the United Kingdom.

Held at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, the 2005 show attracted over 166,000 visitors during its ten day opening period. Visitors to the show in 2005 were predominantly male (79%) and aged between 35 and 49 (47.9%). 61% of visitors were ABC1.

For 2006, the first day (26th October) is dedicated to Trade and Press visitors; the second is a Preview Day (27th October) offering a privilege first view of the show; the remaining days (28th October to 5th November) are normal opening days. The show is representative of all main facets of the two-wheel business, including mopeds, scooters, motorcycles, accessories, clothing, components, racing and off road.

Feature areas spread throughout the show offer exciting, interesting and interactive entertainment for visitors. The 2006 show will see Big Bike Ride-outs on a choice of manufacturers' machines, along with the opportunity for non-riding eligible visitors to try geared bikes and scooters under the supervision of a qualified instructor within the halls of the NEC.

In addition, the show prides itself in offering entertainment and hospitality, unequalled by any other motorcycle show or consumer exhibition. There'll be a secure, undercover bike park containing a helmet park, an indoor race paddock - including team displays from both the World and British Superbike series - and a mini moto race circuit where visitors can challenge their friends to a race. Participation is key in ensuring a great visitor experience - the show will offer more interactive entertainment than ever before, with visitors able to test ride the latest manufacturer bikes, scooters, off road bikes, supermoto bikes and mini motos.

Sponsorship packages can be tailored to customer requirements and budgets. Contact the Marketing Department on 0870 330 7834 to discuss the show, its demographics and the sponsorship opportunities in further detail.
