AMANDE CONCERTS UK Amande Concerts UK is a concert agency that organises concerts in the field of Russian classical ballet and folklore in the United Kingdom. "We bring to you famous Russian classical ballets such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker and The Sleeping Beauty. We are also in association with the unique Russian State Ballet - which is called The Big Ballet because each dancer weighs a minimum of 100 kg. In general terms, we would aim to have one to three concerts a year. Each tour can run from six to twelve weeks in Spring and/or Autumn. For any given tour we travel to around 35 to 45 different theatres in England, Wales and Scotland and perform to thousands of people. Our posters will be seen and noticed by an even higher number. We offer the opportunity to advertise on all or just some of our marketing materials, such as posters and fliers (a sample poster is attached as the logo). On average we would print around 4,000 posters, ranging in size from A0 to A4, that are displayed in each theatre on tour. We would print around 150,000 fliers (A5) and around thirty banner stands. In addition to that we offer space in our programmes and on our website. You will be reaching out to a niche market and targeting a specific type of audience. In addition to sponsorship space on posters and fliers, there is the opportunity for a more detailed advert/description in the programmes and on our website. Last year alone our website attracted 12,000 unique visitors". Contact: Alexej Ignatov. Tel.: 07886548334. E-mail: ignal@gmx.net. link to website

CYCLE BLACKPOOL HIRE-A-BIKE Blackpool Hire-a-Bike is the largest street-based, fixed station bike hire scheme in the UK outside of London. Similar in design to London's Barclays Bike Hire scheme, it has over fifty fixed on-street stations and 500 bikes available to the residents and visitors of the UK's foremost seaside resort, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Over twelve million visitors come to Blackpool to visit the many unique attractions, including the pleasure beach, promenade, golden mile, zoo and parks, with bike stations positioned at every major attraction, including exits to the major car parks. Awareness of the scheme is high amongst residents and visitors, with an estimated 80,000 miles total mileage to date. The scheme is promoted widely - and is a major part of cycling-associated events such as the Illuminations' Ride-the-lights, the Tour of Britain and Skyrides. Through the branding and information on the stations and bikes, the scheme creates a very large footprint in a very busy environment and as such is a highly attractive sponsorship opportunity. The network of stations provides twenty-four hour access to bikes for leisure, commuting and utility cycling. It improves the health of its members, reduces the impact of motorised vehicles in the busy town and has almost universal positive reception from residents and local press. The scheme is closely associated with VisitBlackpool, the NHS and Blackpool Council and is strongly supported by Blackpool Council members. Operated by Hourbike Ltd, a team of locally employed and trained mechanics ensure ongoing serviceability of the bikes and stations, and provides customer facing sales and support to customers on the street. An interactive voice response system provides twenty-four hour ticket fulfilment and a website provides online customer information and advance sales. The scheme is seeking a sponsor to ensure ongoing sustainability and growth of the project. Every aspect of the scheme branding, name, station and bike signage, materials and tariff are open to negotiation as part of the package. A single, multi-year sponsorship arrangement is preferred but all interested parties will be considered. A real time map of the extent of the station locations can be found at www.hourbike.com/blackpool (please see link below). Contact: Tim Caswell, Managing Director. Address: Hourbike Ltd, 39 Pilgrim's Way, Bisley, Surrey GU24 9DQ. E-mail: info@hourbike.com link to website

THE OFFICIAL MONSTER RAVING LOONY PARTY OpporLoonity for Sponsor to go 'Monster!'. "A sponsorship liaison with the Loony Party could be the platform for a simple exposure campaign; for example, on our rosettes, website and in news interviews, or more imaginatively as a comedy foil highlighting the particular qualities of a product or organisation. On a smaller scale, a sponsor could support a sole candidate in their campaign constituency. The grey backdrop of a parliamentary election is the perfect opportunity for a colourful Loony event. The Loony Party is a long-standing, vibrant British fixture, bringing iridescence to the election theatre. The cameras always find us, although we're very shy! The Loony Party's origins date to 1963 when Screaming Lord Sutch stood for parliament in Stratford-upon-Avon. He stood in several elections during the '60s and '70s, forming the Loony Party with Howling Laud in 1982. We have stood in twenty-one parliamentary by-elections since Howling Laud became leader in 1999. We field eccentric characters as candidates in both parliamentary by-elections and General Elections. Our strapline is 'Vote for insanity - you know it makes sense', and we are playfully referred to, in the media, as an alternative option to the Establishment. We are in the nation's psyche, and the British population have an instinctive and unique affection for us. We have a rare doorstep connection and appeal variously to the young, the old and the open-minded. Sponsorship of the Loony Party will bring you national press and TV exposure with an enthusiastic, fun, and distinctive partner. Please contact the Party Treasurer for further information". GLENBRUAR HIGHLAND PONY SHOWING TEAM Mairi Page has had highland ponies all her life. "Throughout the years, we have had many successes in the show ring and we have bred many prize winning ponies. As a gamekeeper's daughter, I observed and, indeed, worked with the ponies on the hill as stalking ponies as they brought the deer off the hill and carried panniers for the grouse. My aim is to carry on traditional working, by hiring out my ponies and myself for stalking and for pannier-carrying on the fishing/grouse beats. This said, the same ponies have to compete in showing, dressage and show jumping, all of which are within easy reach of the breed. The Highland Pony Society uses the motto 'Highland Pony - the versatile breed'. I travel to high profile events and compete amongst a great variety of people. Most are agricultural shows in Scotland, including the Royal Highland Show which sees 20,000 people per day over four days come through the gates. The opportunities for advertising there are immense. With the ponies being stabled on site throughout and being one of the largest visitor attractions, advertising would be relatively easy. The dressage competitions, in which I compete, to date have seen me qualify for various Finals, which in turn takes me further afield to more walks of life. The ultimate goal is to travel into England and compete in the qualifying events for The Horse of the Year Show and Olympia Championship at Christmas. These opportunities are all possible with the right sponsorship. Travelling costs and general costs of keeping horses mount up. However, with the assistance of a sponsor, it would be beneficial to both parties. I am no stranger to advertising and more than keen to 'sell' a product. Once I believe in someone and something, try getting me off the subject. However, the advertising available to you as a sponsor could be far-reaching and profitable: decals on my trailers, your emblems on my horse rugs and banners around my stable at shows, together with the obvious links on my own website and Facebook page. I have had numerous wins, including at the Royal Highland Show when one of my mares won the Supreme Championship. Lately, we have come home with Championships from the Nairn, Black Isle and Grantown shows and we have also qualified for local dressage finals". Contact: Mrs Mairi Page.
