ADAM ETCHES - PROFESSIONAL BOXER Adam Etches is a young professional boxer from Sheffield. He has had twelve fights and won them all, ten of them by way of knockout. He is an extremely intelligent young man who is very focused on his career. He is an excellent disciplined fighter who trains very hard and denies himself all the usual trappings a young man has these days. His total life and outlook is focused on becoming a champion - he already holds the IBF Youth Title after just twelve fights. Adam also has a huge following, topping bills in Sheffield and fighting on the biggest televised undercards in British boxing, including the Ricky Hatton fight. Young fighters these days find it very hard to survive in the early stages of their careers and need all the financial help they can get. "We would be looking for individuals or businesses to sponsor Adam on a one or two year deal. Adam can display sponsors' names, logos, etc. on his shorts and gown and on the track suits of his trainer and corner men. A link can also be put on Adam's website, which is www.adametches.com or on his Twitter account. This is an excellent opportunity to come on board with one of boxing's brightest prospects. Thank you for reading this - we will be grateful for any sponsorship". Contact: Adam Etches. Mobiles: 07969835407, 07734955221. E-mail: adam@adametches.com. link to website

LANRE OLUBAMIWO 'Big Larry', as he is often referred to by UK media moguls, is a British prospect who refreshed the national heavyweight scene by adding speed, explosive power and charisma. Larry's power has been compared with that of British heavyweight great Frank Bruno, while his fighting style was associated with that of American legend Mike Tyson. Unlike most heavyweight boxers today, Larry's image is very aesthetic, appealing to a wider sporting audience. This feature has already eased Larry's crossover from professional sprinting into boxing. Having stopped all but one of his opponents, thus earning himself a place in the Top Ten SKY TV Knock Outs, Larry 'the War Machine' Olubamiwo is now lined up for a Southern Area Title. This year started with another great knock-out victory which earned the admiration of awarded coach Freddie Roach. This boxer, who reached the national finals as an amateur with the backing of the Repton Boxing Club, wishes to find an organisation who will support his ambitions of reaching a world boxing title and who will join efforts with coach Freddie Roach in this project. Contact: Lanre Olubamiwo. Address: 105 Latitude Court, Albert Basin Way 3, Newham E16 2QP. Tel.: 07956288682. E-mail: lanreolubamiwo@hotmail.com. link to website

CLUBS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
Clubs for Young People (formerly the Boys Clubs) is a national charity that provides sports, arts and training to 400,000 young people throughout the UK. They are seeking a sponsor for their Boxing Gala Dinner. This is a spectacular night, the culmination of the foremost amateur youth boxing competition which has in the past produced famous names such as Naseem Hamed and Audley Harrison. It will be an excellent opportunity for the sponsor to entertain staff and customers at a table hosted by a celebrity boxer whilst supporting a national charity that touches the lives of young people, say the organisation. The sponsor would have their name and logo on all communications, on the boxer’s kit if required (all boxers are over 18) and on the charity’s annual report which is widely distributed throughout the year. A PR agency is in place to promote the event and ensure positive coverage for both the charity and the sponsor, they tell us. Clubs for Young People suggest that this opportunity would be ideal for any business wishing to reach either active young people or the 350 senior executives and opinion formers from top UK companies who attend the night. A variety of opportunities are available, including title sponsorship, bout sponsorship and advertising. Contact: Sarah Woolcock, Deputy Director, Fundraising. Address: 371 Kennington Lane, London SE11 5QY. E-mail: sjw@nacyp.org.uk. link to website

SPIRE BOXING ACADEMY Spire Boxing Academy opened back in 2006 and in this time has changed the lives of hundreds of people young and old in the surrounding area. The academy was founded by Spire's head coach, NE Derbyshire County Council's Coach of the Year, Derbyshire ABA county coach and ex-professional, Robbie Sivyer. "We have hosted 20+ superb quality home boxing events as well as our boxers competing up and down the country representing Spire Boxing Academy and Derbyshire Amateur Boxing Association (ABA) in national championships. We have produced many talented amateur boxers and improved fitness and confidence for many others of all ages, male and female, who were happier on the outside of the ropes but loved to get stuck in to the tough boxing workout. Sponsorship would be very important to help us maintain this level of much needed community input. We offer prospective sponsors an opportunity to support future champions and athletes - and in return offer advertisement opportunities with graphics and logos on all apparel, billboard space and web sites and advertisements on all event paraphernalia. Any other preferred options are open to discussion". Contact: Mrs Julia Sivyer. Address: Unit 2, Thompson Street, Chesterfield S41 9AR. Tel.: 01246 456598. E-mail: jsivyer@me.com. link to website
