CREATE is a not-for-profit organisation working to reduce the effects of climate change. It helps organisations to improve their environmental performance, using a variety of training techniques, together with advice on energy efficiency, renewables, water conservation and waste minimisation.
It also adds value to commercial organisations' social responsibility programmes through developing and managing community and education projects. CREATE has been involved in the development and organisation of Village Energy Days in Daventry, Northamptonshire, for example, aimed at increasing awareness of energy efficiency in rural communities in the areas surrounding Daventry, promoting the take-up of energy efficiency measures in the home and developing ongoing energy efficiency education programees in local schools.
