Variety Events keep it local with opportunities that really mean business
Local exhibitions, seminars and clinics organised by Variety Events encourage local businesses to do business in the local community where they live or work.
An independent company, working in support of the FSB - Keep Trade Local campaign (Keeping Business Local - Creating Connections That Count), Variety Events has already organised shows in Reading and Newbury and now have six events planned for 2010 in the Thames Valley in Slough, Basingstoke, Aylesbury, Reading, Newbury and Oxford.
They have already started to generate substantial numbers of hits on Google and have a large list of followers, exhibitors and attendees for the events. The shows seem sure to grow not just in recognition, but in brand awareness and indeed the company's five year plan is to have an event in each major town in the UK.
Clearly there is scope to make these events global with the right sponsor on board and Variety Events has a comprehensive list of sponsorship opportunities on offer.
"We're looking for a sponsor to come in at the beginning and see this grow, and with great branding, best practice and customer service sponsors will see their ROI in no time. The events take the form of seminars, advice panels, speed networking and B2B exhibitions locally: in local venues, with local speakers and with local businesses. The Keeping Business Local events are organised by a business team with experience of running successful events in the Thames Valley and beyond".
