BACD charity can score well nationally for sponsors of the disability cricket competitions they runThe British Association for Cricketers with Disabilities is a charitable organisation run entirely by volunteers and its main job is to run and administer the Disabled County Cricket Championship on behalf of the ECB.
There are some sixteen counties currently involved, with plans to take on a further four counties in the next two years.
The BACD offers cricket opportunities for people with learning or physical disabilites and is looking for sponsorship for its national competitions.
"We currently run two county competitions, one using a normal hardball and one for those less mobile, using a softer ball, called an Incrediball. We also run a national Twenty/20 competition at the National Cricket Performance Centre at Loughborough. This is for the fifty-two best physically disabled cricketers in the country.
"For the county championship competitions, we are looking for sponsorship deals in the region of £2K per competition per season and for the Twenty/20 competition we are looking for deals in the region of £1K".
