SSW/PL001 BETH FRENCH
Beth French is an elite athlete without the elite bank balance ... so far, totally self-funded, she has trained and funded her solo swim of the English Channel and became the first British woman to swim the treacherous Kaiwi Channel in Hawaii - a feat that took twenty-four hours of non-stop swimming. Her swim was filmed for Hawaiian Xtreme Sports TV. Beth is looking for sponsorship to take her to the next level: swims that have never been done before. This summer, 2014, she is attempting to swim the twenty-six miles from Cornwall to the Scilly Isles - and her main drive is to tackle the Ocean Seven list in one year. She discovered her steely determination and unique version of humour under duress by overcoming ME. Suffering from the age of ten years old, she was in a wheelchair at seventeen. For Beth, water is where the world makes sense and she is fond of saying (over and over on her marathon swims ...) "It's not over till I run out of water". Sponsors can expect to be tweeted and blogged about, with corporate links on her website and sport media platforms, and she is an accomplished speaker about becoming your own hero, time and effort management and her 'life less ordinary'. For these or other opportunities, please contact her. "Any drop in the ocean will help! Many thanks for your consideration". Contact: Beth French. Address: 5 Fairfield Terrace, Milverton TA4 1QX. CARDIFF MASTERS - WELSH CAPITAL MASTERS SWIM MEET
In May 2008, the Welsh Capital Masters moved into its new home in the new state-of-the-art facilities at Cardiff International Swimming Pool. The club is very proud to have been the first national gala to be held in these new facilities. In previous years the Welsh Capital Masters had been a short course event, but still attracted swimmers from outside of the UK, including competitors from the USA and Australia. With the move to a long course event at one of the UK's top sporting facilities, the profile of the event can only grow. For sponsors, this is an opportunity to link their brand to      one of the biggest Masters swimming clubs in Wales, Cardiff Masters      a high profile swim meet on the British Amateur Swimming Association calendar. Promotional opportunities include advertising space within the gala programme; space for the sponsor's brand in the pool facilities on the day itself (either banners or display boards); the sponsor's brand on the Cardiff Masters and Welsh Capital Masters website; the sponsor's brand on any merchandise associated with the event; the sponsor's brand on the ribbons for the individual event medals. Exclusive sponsorship opportunities exist to sponsor the Club and Age Group awards. Sponsors should contact Martin Neal, chair of Cardiff Masters Swimming Club at martinjneal@btinternet.com or the gala committee at gala@cardiffmasters.co.uk to discuss associating their brand with the annual Welsh Capital Masters and other events. Contact: Martin Neal, Club Chairman. Address: 39 Pomeroy Street, Cardiff CF10 5GS. Tel.: 07817 185408. E-mail: martinjneal@btinternet.com (Cardiff Masters Swimming Club); gala@cardiffmasters.co.uk (Gala Committee).

SSW/001 STACEY TADD
Stacey Tadd has just been to the London 2012 Olympics for Swimming and has been to all the major competitions within the last four years. For the past two years she has been awarded UK Sport Lottery funding. However, from the end of October she will no longer receive this as she missed the standard set by them by three places. She is currently number one in Britain and has been crowned British Champion for three years running for her event, the 200m Breastroke, and she also holds the long course English Record. "I feel that I have a bit more to give to my sport and don't really want to hang up my goggles yet, but feel I may have to, as to swim full time without the funds is impossible, as I need to live and pay for things. I was wondering if there is anything I could do for you and your company in order for you to help fund/sponsor me in my swimming career as I am still improving? I would be happy to help advertise your business, such as wear your brand's name on my club kit at competitions. Any interviews I do I will praise and mention you. My full achievements can be found via this link:
http://www.swimming.org/britishswimming/swimming/womens-profiles/stacey-tadd/7255/. Many Thanks for taking the time to read this and I really hope you can help. Stacey Tadd". Contact: Stacey Tadd. Address: 58 Waterford Park, Radstock BA3 3TS. E-mail: littlemissgiggles21_729@hotmail.com.
