Alpro soya, the UK's leading dairy free brand, is sponsoring the last ever series of Parkinson on ITV1 this autumn. The deal includes broadcast and online sponsorship and branded trailers on ITV1.
Michael Parkinson returned to ITV1 on 15th September with the last ever series of his popular talk show that has been running for over four decades. His unique and topical collaboration of guests has firmly kept viewers enthralled over the years, while making his talk show a Saturday night institution.
"We are delighted to be sponsoring Parkinson," commented John Allaway, commercial director at Alpro soya. "Parkinson is a firm favourite with our target audience and this high profile sponsorship will help to drive Alpro soya brand awareness with existing and new consumers. Soya is no longer a niche product and this sponsorship highlights its mainstream acceptance."
Leigh Alexander, Sponsorship and Branded Content Controller, at ITV Customer Relations, said: "We are excited to have Alpro on board and look forward to the partnership."
The Alpro soya branded trailers focus on Alpro soya Original, a chilled milk alternative and the strawberry flavoured yogurt alternative. The sponsorship is part of Alpro soya's wider marketing campaign which includes experiential marketing, PR, direct marketing and online advertising.
