IPC SouthBank's Hair, the UK's biggest-selling hair magazine, has signed KMS California as sponsor of its first Hair Awards. The awards are designed "to seek out, recognise and celebrate the fantastic products and people that keep the UK's hair looking gorgeous".
The Hair Awards' one hundred and one categories cover products within haircare, styling, appliances, tools and home colour, as well as people and salons including hairdresser of the year, local stylist of the year and London salon of the year.
KMS California is a leading company in the professional salon industry, marketing a wide range of shampoos, conditioners, treatments and styling products. Earlier this year, the company's Artistic Director, Sean Dawson, was appointed President of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing.
The October issue of Hair, on sale from September 14th, includes a 32-page bound-in supplement revealing the winners and there will be a Hair Awards party to celebrate, attended by agencies, clients, hairdressers, celebrities and beauty experts.
“Hair is the biggest-selling hair magazine and these awards demonstrate its authority and market-leading position" said Publisher Lynsey Bushell. "The Awards are also a fantastic platform to further increase the profile of Hair, both within the hair industry and with readers.”
Editor Zoe Richards added: “We know that honest endorsement and expert recommendations are so important to our readers. We're delighted to be staging these Hair Awards, both to reward the heroes in the hair market and to inform our readers about the products and people that make good hair days a reality.”
