ABERAVON RFC "Do you believe in giving something back? Then this sponsorship opportunity is for you". Aberavon RFC was founded in 1876 and moved to its present home, the Talbot Athletic Ground, in 1907. Several of the current Ospreys squad have passed through Aberavon's ranks - flankers Justin Tipuric and James King, centre Ashley Beck, prop Ryan Bevington and scrum-half Rhys Webb have all gone on to represent Wales. "We play in the Welsh Principality Building Society Premiership, British & Irish Cup and the Swalec Cup and receive media coverage through TV, newspapers and numerous other media coverage. Aberavon RFC seeks sponsors to continue our development work in schools across Port Talbot with children aged 7-11 via our competitive sports programme for Rugby and Netball. The programme includes Rugby and Netball so that both girls and boys have an opportunity to take part in sport at a competitive level. It also provides many exit routes outside of schools that already exist with clubs for the children to follow if they don't already play for a team. The programme is part of a long-term initiative to develop and increase sport participation and rugby awareness, personal fitness and the need to balance sport with academic improvement within Port Talbot schools. Created to reinstate the positive relationship between Aberavon RFC and the Port Talbot primary schools, the programme has the support of local MPs, along with Neath & Port Talbot Council. The diversity of the programme has been a huge positive experience for over 3,000 pupils each season. Port Talbot has the second highest levels of obesity in Wales, along with other social issues and low income issues for families; but with your support we can help combat this together and brighten up the futures of the children we work with, along with putting your company's name into the schools', public's and children's eyes. In return for your becoming a partner we will develop a rights and activation package to align with your brand. Please check out more on the programme here: http://www.aberavonwizards.co.uk/communityrugby6.htm. Costain currently sponsor the programme but are ending their involvement due to their project moving on from the area. Aberavon RFC also seek other commercial partners for shirt, community and advertising opportunities - see this page: http://www.aberavonwizards.co.uk/commercial.htm. We look forward to speaking with you to discuss any sponsorship you would like to consider with us". Contact: Gareth Howells, Commercial & Marketing Manager. CHICHESTER RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB Chichester Rugby Football Club, founded in 1926, is a large charitable community sports club just minutes from the centre of historic Chichester at Oaklands Park, one of the most idyllic sports parks on the south coast. Playing in London League 3 South for the first time in 2014/15, CRFC are looking for great achievements both on and off the field. Their newly refurbished pavilion club house is proving very popular as a venue for sponsors, players, supporters and the extended Chichester community alike. One key component of the ethos of the club is the development of their junior squads. "With over 450 youngsters, both boys and girls, on the roster, the future of the club's teams looks assured. But, like any growing successful club, we need help from our sponsors. In December 2004 Chichester RFC were delighted to be awarded the RFU Seal of Approval, a standard of excellence for the coaching and administration of Mini and Junior rugby. At that time Chichester was the twenty-first club in the country to receive this prestigious award. The success of the Mini and Junior section was again recognised by Sport England, who, in December 2005, named the club 'the best youth sports club in Sussex'. We were successful in renewing the seal of approval in 2007. In 2012 we achieved the RFU Seal of Approval for the whole club. If you are looking for a club to sponsor, at any financial level, you can be assured of a "bang for your buck" in return for any investment, no matter how large or small. DORKING RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB Dorking Rugby Football Club 1st XV have capped a remarkable ten years of success with promotion to National League 2 South for the first time in the their 93-year history. "Promotion now makes Dorking RFC a Level 4 club and among the top seventy clubs in the country - and you too could become part of our amazing story next season. The club's achievement is all the more extraordinary for the players, coaches, friends and sponsors because The Red & Whites are charity run and don't pay their players. Instead, the club has built from the ground up with a One-Club ethos that feeds a steady stream of home-grown players into the senior sides. In this championship-winning season we have fielded an average of twelve home-grown players in every match day squad of eighteen. Dorking RFC is very well set up to compete in National League 2 - both on and off the field - and expects to attract extra players who wish to play a high level of fast-paced and exciting rugby. The club is also now attracting great interest from businesses keen to support the its fantastic achievements. Those companies now looking to become a sponsor will see a broad range of benefits, as the club's high-profile fixtures gain exposure across the whole of the south of the country, from Southend in Essex across to Redruth in Cornwall - and up from Worthing in Sussex to Cambridge. It is going to be a wonderful rollercoaster ride - and we will need increased levels of support to meet the challenges and adventures that lie ahead. In return, your company will be associated with a very successful sporting club that enjoys big match-day crowds at home and away. Packages are tailor-made for advertisers and sponsors' specific needs. Benefits can include pitch-side banners and advertisements in home match programmes, on the club website and in the fixture card. There are opportunities to sponsor club kit, players, coaches and an array of facilities within the club ... as well as the opportunity to use our redeveloped clubhouse with its glorious backdrop of Box Hill for your own meetings, conferences and lunches served by our excellent caterers. The clubhouse is also where we hold pre-match lunches before every home game, serving up - we are not afraid to boast - by far and away the best cuisine you will find at any rugby club. Here businesses are welcome to join us with their guests for a very agreeable and entertaining three-course meal before enjoying the match and the unique ambiance of the Dorking RFC experience. Please feel free to find out what makes Dorking Rugby Club so special and how you could be part of its very exciting future. For more information, and to investigate the possibilities, please contact Jamie Merrett". Contact: Jamie Merrett, Commercial Director. Address: Doddington, Longfield Road, Dorking RH4 3DF. LANCASTER UNIVERSITY RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB
The academic standard of Lancaster University has been rising consistently to place it highly in respected nationwide tables. In recent years, the university sports pitches have been plagued with flooding over the season but are finally beginning to return to the status they held before. Recently this has led to an inability to train appropriately and has meant that the university club's form has dropped. Looking to turn around its troubled recent history, Lancaster University Rugby Union Football Club is hoping to break through to become a serious rugby university and is therefore looking for a financial donor to aid them as sponsor next season. This will allow the club to buy new kits and perhaps a few other pieces of equipment. There are four university sides, three in the North-West BUPA League and a weekend side that plays local clubs. The club's budget is modest so any sponsorship would be welcome. Contact: Tom Payne. RYAN LOMAS Strong in stature and huge in reputation, Ryan Lomas is destined to be one of the best Irish rugby players Ireland has had. But he needs your help to fulfill his ambition. Ryan is presently looking for sponsorship, to fulfill his expectations of becoming one of Ireland's greatest rugby players. He has already secured a 40% rugby scholarship and is now trying to raise the rest of the funding himself, to cover a three year period. He is looking to raise £21,000, which will cover the next three years' college fees. Your sponsorship would relieve the huge financial burden and emotional pressures he presently faces. Ryan is looking to send himself to one of the best rugby schools in Ireland and needs your help. As a sponsor he will keep you up to date with what is going on in his life, tell you where he is playing and (of course!) let you know how your help is making an impact on his life. For his main sponsor branding will also be a key factor: Ryan in his forthcoming years will not be a stranger to the media - indeed, he has already appeared on local radio and in newspapers, as well as making an appearance on the Irish TV network. TRINITY COLLEGE RUGBY CLUB
Trinity College Rugby Club is looking for a kit sponsor for its first XV. Trinity is one of the largest and most well-reputed Oxbridge colleges, both in academia and sport, giving the team a potential fan base of over 1,000 students. Moreover recent successes, including reaching the final of the cuppers plate last season, have increased interest. The sponsorship would include having the sponsor's name across the shirt and possibly on other team clothing which would be worn around the university, resulting in a very large amount of exposure for the company. In this way the sponsorship would also serve as a chance to reach a large pool of potential future graduate employees of the highest standard, within the rugby club, the college and the university as a whole. Contact: Julian Temple, Club Secretary. Address: Trinity College, Cambridge CB2 1TQ. E-mail: jct48@cam.ac.uk.
