ALICE HURLEY - PREMIER PRE DRESSAGE AND STUD
International rider 26 year old Alice Hurley has competed in affiliated dressage for the last fifteen years, after winning the National Talent Spotting in 1999. She has represented Great Britain on several occasions in Spain, England, Holland, Ireland and Northern Ireland. Currently trained by Olympian, Richard Davison and Spanish Grand Prix rider, Victor Alvarez, she is a determined, dedicated and ambitious rider able to compete all types of horses. She works for Premier PRE Dressage competing her owner, Karen Bourdon's, Spanish dressage horses currently in England and Spain. She has a friendly, patient, calm and sympathetic approach to her training in order to inspire confidence and perfection in each horse. Results speak for themselves: Alice has produced and competed 7 year old black Andalusian (PRE) stallion Deseado CCV (please see this link on a British Dressage news page -
www.britishdressage.co.uk/news/show/2054-hurley-and-deseado-make-their-mark-in-madrid for his most recent win - 25th May, 2014). This talented partnership, which was placed second in the Petplan Equine Medium Open Area Festival Championship at Hartpury in April, will compete in advanced medium classes this year, working towards making their PSG debut in 2015. Following on from the pair's success at the Barcelona Spring Tour in March 2014, Alice and Deseado (pictured), won the Copa de ANCCE medal once again. This achievement secured their place at the PRE Dressage World Championships (SICAB) taking place in Seville on 2nd-7th December, 2014, making them the first GB competitors ever to qualify for this pinnacle of the PRE calendar. HANNAH WESTDORP
Hannah Westdorp is a 15-year-old junior rider, registered with British Showjumping. "I am writing to you regarding an opportunity for your company to sponsor me in furthering my show jumping career. I've been a British Showjumping member since 29th February this year and have been jumping since April with my pony Saltare Hugo, a 145cm Welsh x Quantock. When we bought Hugo in March 2014 he was very overweight, unschooled and had never jumped before. Since I've had him we have had regular training with Yvonne Thompson, who was a Grade A showjumper in Zimbabwe for over twenty-five years, and has trained hundreds of young riders, of which a substantial few went on to be very prestigious in their fields. In four months of jumping with BSJ, we have been in the top three placings at most of our events, and have recently qualified for the National Pony Bronze League Final, which takes place at Stoneleigh Park in August. We have also qualified for the Bamburgh Novice Masters Championship at Scope festival this August, and have got through to the Second Rounds of the Pony British Novice Championships for 2016. Hugo is currently about 30 points away from moving up a grade from JD to JC. I am so very proud of what we have achieved in such a short time. I have always contributed to the expense of living my dream by doing yard duties and exercising horses in exchange for livery and training; but I have reached my limit as to how much I can personally help with the rising cost of transport, competition entry fees, vet bills, extra feed and supplements, rugs, clothing, shoeing, etc. Sponsorship would be an enormous help and enable me to continue success within British Showjumping". SHR/PL004 MIA BROWN
Mia Brown is an up-and-coming, extremely talented young show rider looking for sponsorship to help her achieve her dreams and beyond. Mia has only been riding twenty months and in that time has gone from a riding school pupil, loaning a "starter pony" and moving on to buying her own 13 hands pony. "In less than a year together they have already won so much - and missed out on qualifying for the Horse of the Year Show twice by only one place! Fantastic results especially when we didn't think we would be ready to compete at that level this year. Mia is only eleven years old, and owns Bronheulog Sunny Boy, who was a novice Show Hunter Pony. Together they have achieved so much in so little time - learning and growing together. She took Supreme Champion at Shropshire County Show and was successful at several other championships, winning show hunter at Newport Show, Canwell Show, Oswestry Show, National Equine Stars and many, many more. They have already been offered a prestigious training scholarship with Richard and Marjorie Ramsay - only one scholarship place is offered each year. Next year Mia will be attempting to qualify for the Royal International and the Horse of the Year Show, travelling around the country to various events. We will be searching for a bigger pony next year, of Hoys quality to keep up with Mia's ever growing legs! Mia is based near Nantwich, Cheshire and attends her local high school, being in her first year of senior school. Mia is not from a wealthy family and all monies are ploughed into helping this talented young rider progress. Any sponsorship would be hugely welcomed and extremely valued". Contact: Shannon Brown. SHR/PL005 MICHELLE CRUNKHORN
Michelle Crunkhorn is a grade 4 Paralympic Dressage Rider. Michelle has a congenital disability: her left arm finishes just below the elbow. Apart from the left arm she is an able-bodied person. Michelle is looking for help and support to make her dream come true. Michelle had a dream to compete at the London 2012 Paralympics and lost it. "Diamond, the horse that she bought for London 2012, suffered a severe case of laminitis in January 2010. Laminitis is a very complicated hoof problem which we believe was caused by a shock to his feet by snow. A very long battle to try to get him sound to be brought back in to work failed and sadly he was put to sleep in July 2012. This was a very difficult time for Michelle. The 2012 Paralympic Dressage team was announced and she had to sit at home watching it. Michelle is now looking to achieve the dream of representing Great Britain at the Rio 2016 Paralympics. Michelle was talent-spotted for her riding abilities after the Sydney Paralympics in 2001. She won a Bronze medal in the 2003 World Championships, was part of the Athens 2004 Paralympics and the 2005 European Championships and in 2007 she won team Gold at the World Championships. Michelle had high hopes for Beijing but the horse that she had been riding was retired after the world championships, which left her with no horse. Michelle bought Diamond, thinking forward to London 2012. In 2010 it all went very badly wrong for her; as a family we did everything possible to try to get Diamond sound. Luckily Michelle was given a horse (Sam) to ride which kept her riding and kept her hopes alive. This year we bought Sam for Michelle and she has started competing him. After not competing for over two years Michelle has started to look to the future again. With sponsorship she can make her dreams come true. Please contact us and look at Michelle’s website to see all of her career results both in Para Dressage and British Dressage. Any sponsorship would be greatly appreciated - it will help with training, travel and competing at shows. Opportunities will also be available for sponsors to have their name on the necessary clothing, merchandise and the horsebox. Sponsors can also attend shows and come to training days or visit the home stables. Please contact Michelle". Contact: Michelle Crunkhorn. Address: 112 Cotgrave Lane, Tollerton, Nottingham NG12 4FY. SHO/002 CLAIRE HANSEN, INTERNATIONAL SHOWJUMPER
Claire Hansen is looking for supporters for her showjumping team. Currently ranked in the top 160 in the country, Claire is a very competitive, professional, loyal and dedicated rider. Each horse has started from the bottom and several have reached international level. To stay at this level Claire has had to sell horses and start on the next one; whilst this provides profit, the process then has to start again. With some support the horses can stay on Claire's team and continue to improve and win at top level. More horses are also needed and Claire can offer full or part ownership deals. Advertising on equipment seen all over Europe is also offered. "Please get in touch if this interests you. There is also the opportunity to spectate at some fantastic venues". Contact: Claire Hansen. SHO/003 HANNAH DOGGETT
This is an opportunity for sponsors to be involved in a popular sport which is thriving after this year's Olympics success. Hannah Doggett is an up-and-coming young dressage rider who is looking for sponsorship to fulfil her aim of competing internationally next year. Hannah has trained with international Grand Prix rider Lisa Marriott for four years and took her previous horse up to advanced level. However, injury to the horse left Hannah with no ride. SHO/006 RACHEL KING
Rachel King has been race riding for four years now as an amateur jockey. She has had seventeen winners altogether, including on the flat, over jumps and abroad. She rides in point-to-point races every weekend, from November until early June, whilst also riding during the week against fellow amateurs and professionals. "This year I am competing in a series called Fegentri, which involves travelling all over the world to ride. So far I have competed in four of these races, winning two and finishing second in one. I am offering a fantastic opportunity to have your company/name displayed all over the world and regularly in the UK. I wouldn't be asking for a massive amount of sponsorship - just a one-off payment, depending on the length of the agreement, to purchase equipment which would carry your printed message/logo. I currently work in a racing yard, riding out and doing work in the office. I'm very keen to further myself and keep progressing in my race-riding career. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask, either by phone or email". Contact: Rachel King. Tel.: 07845 700971. E-mail:

SHO/007 ROBBIE MASON
Here's a chance to help a young boy fulfil his dreams, become part of a fantastic sport and have your company gain recognition within an environment full of opportunity. Robbie is a young, up-and-coming show jumper who entered the sport in 2009. He has excelled up through from beginner's tracks, where he won the 70cm league title for 2010 for Scotland and Northern England and has since moved right up to the maximum heights, jumping the Grand Prixs and internationals. In 2011 he was picked to represent Scotland at each of the international events throughout the four home countries, where he picked up two silver and one bronze medal from the four events. He had his first attempt at the last Horse of the Year qualifier late summer 2011 and missed out by only two placings. His aim now is to attempt to qualify for the next Horse of the Year and Hickstead International show, win Gold for Scotland at next year's International and finish in the top three of the 13.2 Scottish league. Sponsorship will enable Robbie to travel to the necessary shows to jump these qualifying rounds and will give him the maximum chances of success. Any sponsorship will be greatly appreciated and opportunities will be available for sponsors' names to be printed on tack, clothing, transport, etc. to achieve coverage around Britain at the premier circuits. Further opportunities may also be agreed. Contact: Robbie Mason. Address: 34 Glenbervie Wynd, Irvine KA11 4DL. Tel.: 01294 31168. E-mail:

SHO/008 STUART MUIRHEAD
Stuart Muirhead (thirteen years old) is a very successful showjumper, competing at BSJA level and unaffiliated. "My son, Stuart, has been riding since he was five. He also takes part in JumpCross, gaining a 3rd in the Young Riders Challenge Final at Grange Farm, Peterborough, this year. His profile can be seen in the news section of
www.jumpcross.com. He recently won Bronze with his BSJA Junior Academy team at the inter-academy competion. He also won an individual 5th at the same competion. His bedroom wall has in excess of 190 rosettes! Stuart is looking for assistance with his means of transport for getting his ponies to and from competions. We have a very good friend who allowed us to use her horse trailer for the last three years; but she now needs to have it back. Stuart will now be unable to fulfil his dreams and take part regularly at competitions. He would love to be in a position to compete for his country in showjumping - it's all he does, he loves his ponies and dreams of one day competing at the Olympics. Personally I would say he is a natural rider and has the ability to fulfil this dream, just not the funding to allow it to happen. We would be more than happy to show your company logo on our saddle cloths, clothing and transport and be part of any advertising campaigns you may have". Contact: Christine Muirhead.
