All members of the Tretorn Squad will be provided with the new Advanced Performance Boot, an innovative new riding boot aimed at the equestrian athlete. The first Tretorn riding boot was launched in Sweden in 2007; this ground- breaking boot is a collaborative project between Tretorn and top Swedish show jumper Malin Baryard.
Crafted to be lighter and more comfortable than anything else on the market, say the company, with fit and functionality taking equal precedence, Tretorn's innovative new riding boot combines the superior technological function that is akin to the modern trainer, with the styling that is needed to perform whilst riding.
Features include side laces that can be adjusted to ensure that the rider gets a secure fit, soft calfskin lining, non slip comfort sole for cushioning, heel and ankle support, spur cover, rear zip, reinforced foot and a water resistant upper.

Magnus Mansson, General Manager of Tretorn AB was upbeat about the new deal: "I am very pleased to be able to support the future champions of Great Britain, particularly with the 2012 Olympics on the horizon. We are researching and experimenting with new materials and designs, with the aim of presenting riders with the option of using new performance technology similar to that of footballers and other Olympic athletes".

Maria Clayton, Head of Communications for British Show Jumping commented: "We are thrilled that Tretorn have chosen to align with the British Junior and Young Rider Squads and we look forward to announcing the '2009 Tretorn Squad' early in May after the Viewing Trials have taken place.
Tretorn's commitment and passion for show jumping as a whole along with their forward thinking approach in terms of technological advancement make them a perfect partner for us and we are all looking forward to developing this relationship over the forthcoming season and beyond".
