The charity Habitat for Humanity (HFH) was the real winner in the ICC's Cricket World Cup match between South Africa and the Netherlands.
HFH, a non-denominational Christian charity dedicated to eliminating poverty housing worldwide, is benefitting to the tune of $1 million (about £515,000) following the
hitting of six sixes in one over by South Africa's Herschelle Gibbs. The feat triggered a payment by drinks company Johnnie Walker, sponsors of a "six sixes" competition which had been set up in advance of the tournament.
Since its founding in 1976, Habitat for Humanity has become a global leader in addressing substandard housing, helping more than a million people to have a decent place to live and having built or renovated more than 200,000 homes throughout the world.
