Eastern region and Suffolk-based train operator 'one' has announced its sponsorship of Ip-art 2006, the third successive year that 'one' has been the principal sponsor of the Summer Festival for Ipswich, which continues to grow in popularity.
For two weeks, from 25th June to 9th July, local talent together with artists from across the region, the UK and abroad will bring to the town a vibrant programme of dance, theatre, comedy, literature, film and music.
As well as sponsoring the festival, 'one' are amongst other local companies contributing to the Ipswich Music Day festival held in Christchurch Park, Ipswich on Sunday, 2nd July, a free event open to all.
In addition to their support for Ip-art, 'one' has an extensive commitment to the arts in the Eastern region through sponsorship support for events including the Norfolk & Norwich Festival, the Britten Sinfonia in Cambridge, the Chelmsford Cathedral Festival, the Eastern Angles Theatre Company and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra's residency at Lowestoft's Marina Theatre.
Commenting on the company's continued sponsorship of Ip-art, Martin Dean, Sales and Marketing Director for 'one' said: "We are delighted to again sponsor Ip-art in 2006. The festival is rapidly establishing itself as a key regional event and provides an excellent vehicle for 'one' to support the Ipswich and Suffolk community who we are pleased to serve as the region's train operator."
