Henkel Consumer Adhesives has extended its support of the UniBond League for a further two seasons, taking its record-breaking fifteen year sponsorship through to June 2009.
The DIY product maker, whose UK production centre is in Winsford, Cheshire, has signed its further commitment to the League as the competition plans to expand to three divisions from the start of the 2007/8 season.
“We have always been very proud of our northern base - where we employ nearly 400 people - and are delighted at the success and growth of the UniBond League during our partnership with its organisers” says Henkel’s sponsorship manager, Rob Jenkins.
Since the UniBond League sponsorship started in 1994, Henkel has provided well over £1 million of funding to the 44-club competition.
