SUNSHINE TOUR UK
The Sunshine Tour UK is delighted that The All England Showground, Hickstead has invited it back to hold its 2017 championship at their prestigious venue for the third year. The Sunshine Tour UK is a national championship for unaffiliated competitors of all ages that compete either for fun or as a springboard into affiliated competition. Following the overwhelming success of the 2016 championship, it is quickly establishing itself as one of the most popular national unaffiliated championships within the equine community. Competitors are already wildly excited at the prospect of competing at Hickstead again in September 2017. Qualification events will take place across the country from January to August in Dressage, Show Jumping, Showing and the Eventers Challenge, allowing competitors to qualify for, and compete in, multi-disciplines. Immediately after the 2016 championship, new venues began to enquire as to how they can become a Sunshine Tour qualification venue for 2017, increasing the already established base of 140 registered venues. The championship, since its expansion and move to Hickstead in 2015, has seen over 1,500 horses compete each year, resulting in a footfall of over 3,000 people. Winners and those taking part are showered with beautifully designed rosettes, sashes and prizes, including rugs and jackets. Securing sponsorship to cover the cost of the rosettes and prizes would allow the championship to be even more generous with its prize giving; having the funds to enable the distribution of rosettes to all children that enter the championship, even if they are not placed, is on the wish list for 2017. The Sunshine Tour is seeking sponsorship from companies that have an interest in reaching and supporting grassroot, unaffiliated and amateur competitors, that would like to share in the show's success, be part of its growth and benefit from the fantastic marketing opportunities it offers.
