CROYDON ATHLETIC FOOTBALL CLUB
Croydon Athletic FC was founded in 1986 as Wandsworth & Norwood FC, playing in the London Spartan League until changing their name in 1990. In 1997 they joined the Ryman Isthmian League, where they have played ever since. They are currently in Division One South, having spent a season in the Premier Division in 2010/11. As well as competing in the League, FA Cup and FA Trophy, they also compete in the London Senior Cup and have reached the final on three occasions. They are based in Thornton Heath and play their home games at the 3,000-capacity Keith Tuckey Stadium, in the heart of the community they call home. In addition to the First Team, they have a Ladies and Junior Programme, as well as a successful Academy, which competes in the National Conference Youth Alliance at Under 19 level. The Club benefits from an excellent stadium, access to and use of adjacent pitches, an excellent clubhouse with bar and ample parking.
