Boxfresh, the 'Original British Streetwear' brand, is sponsoring a new competition, through the D&AD talentpool website, aimed at up-and-coming creative talent. The competition, launched recently, challenges new advertising creatives to create an innovative and original integrated advertising idea for Boxfresh's Autumn/Winter 2007 collection.
The winner will not only receive a £2,500 cash prize but also be awarded a placement with the company's in-house creative team in London to refine and complete
the advertising campaign between April and June 2007.
D&AD talentpool is a free online recruitment service for recognised emerging talent in the ad. industry. D&AD is a not-for-profit organisation that represents the international design, advertising and creative communities.
"We are very excited to work with Boxfresh on this competition for new creatives. Their sponsorship of the competition demonstrates the value that outstanding creativity can bring to business," said Michael Hockney, D&AD Chief Executive.
Stephen Gill, Boxfresh Managing Director, was upbeat about the new competition. "Since its inception in 1989, Boxfresh had a personal commitment to encouraging and celebrating new creative talent, be it within design, art, or music cultures. Boxfresh's collaboration with D&AD further emphasises our genuine belief in giving back to the community through supporting young people. We're all looking forward to receiving the concepts, and I have no doubt that this competition will generate some innovative and impactful results."
