Nuts - the leading lifestyle weekly for men - has announced the launch of Formula Nuts, a nationwide hunt for the UK's next motor racing star driver.
To mark the launch of the competition, Nuts has teamed up with leading automotive agency Drive to sponsor saloon car racing driver Dave Pinkney's Honda Integra throughout this year's British Tour Car Championship.
Formula Nuts kicks off with a series of karting qualifiers throughout the UK in September, followed by a karting final. Each entrant will receive professional coaching and assessment from British Touring Car Championship drivers. Those who make it to the karting final will then compete for one of ten places in the Grand Final.
At this stage of the competition, the karts are replaced with cars and an overall winner will be chosen by a panel of judges and experts.
The lucky winner will take the driving seat in front of 35,000 spectators in the final race of the Renault Clio Cup at Silverstone alongside some of the UK's best motorsport drivers.
