Witton Albion Football Club was established in 1887 in the parish of Witton in Northwich and currently plays in the Unibond League.

Over the years the club has enjoyed varying degrees of success - probably the most famous event being in 1992 when they reached the final of the FA Trophy, which was played at Wembley Stadium in front of over 32,000 supporters as well as being shown live on Sky Sports.

Witton Albion prides itself on being a family club offering free entry to under 14s; this means that it relies heavily on supporters and local businesses to keep going. The fan base has been improving steadily over the last few years, last season seeing an increase of over 26%, bucking the trend of many clubs whose attendances fell.

The introduction of Unibond TV means highlights of Witton Albion's games are now shown across pubs and clubs, as well as being viewed at home on the internet by thousands of football fans.
