Always popular at the Whitworth, contemporary textile exhibitions attract young audiences, art and design students, artists and makers and the genuinely curious. A great opportunity to reach design-conscious and trendy twenty and thirty-somethings.
Subversive Spaces
Exploring Surrealism and its legacy, this exhibition promises to be a highlight of 2009 at the Whitworth.

The Whitworth has ongoing sponsorship opportunities for businesses of all sizes to support innovative and exciting education projects for all ages. They are currently seeking sponsorship for their ongoing work with schools, post-16 learners, families and young people outside school hours.
Capital Development
Over the next few years, the Gallery will be undertaking a capital development which will open up the gallery to Whitworth Park and its local communities. Including a new study centre, storage for collections and learning facilities, this will create a gallery for the twenty-first century.
