CASUAL FILMS NEED SPONSORS TO RALLY IN SUPPORT OF THEIR DRIVE TO SEND A COW
Casual Films is making a film covering the Mongol Rally this summer.

The team and two hundred other cars will leave Hyde Park on the 22nd July, embarking on a journey which will take them through twenty-one countries, two mountain ranges and two deserts. And after 10,000 miles, they will arrive in the capital of Mongolia, Ulaan Baatar, one month later. The Mongolian Job is a two car team and will be driving classic minis that are being upgraded to last the course.

This is a charitable event - each of the teams donates at least £1,000 to the supported charity, Send a Cow. As the interesting name suggests, the charity supplies livestock to subsistence farmers in Africa.

The team is looking for companies who would be interested in associating themselves with this highly original event and in return for any donations they would be able to provide space for sponsorship decals on the car and a credit in the film. Alongside the film, about which the team is in negotiations with a number of broadcasters, they will be writing an article for The Sunday Times' travel section and Mini Magazine. They will also be conducting a number of radio interviews.

The event itself is also expected to attract considerable press attention in this country and along the way.
