GROWING VARIETY OF GOLDEN OPPORTUNITIES FOR SPONSORS OF BLACKMORE & LANGDON
Blackmore & Langdon was started by two friends way back in 1901. The company has a reputation for producing the finest varieties of Begonias and Delphiniums anywhere in the world. Its plants can be seen in varied locations, from the Eden Project to Buckingham Palace and from Tasmania to North America. They have exhibited at every Chelsea Flower Show and even before that when the premier RHS event was the Temple Show. Blackmore & Langdon have been awarded more than seventy of the coveted Chelsea Gold Medals and many many thousands of other awards. For the past two years they have featured on the front page of the Daily Telegraph and the tall elegant spires of their Delphiniums get excellent television coverage, as they can always be seen leaving the showground after the final day. It costs far more to put on a display such as this than can be recouped in sales, so the decision was made several years ago to offer companies an opportunity to be linked with their display. (For those who are potential sponsors, and have not yet experienced 'Chelsea', it is a very high profile event - anybody who is anybody will be seen there and obviously the pedigree of your investment matters). The company has calculated that the cost of their display is £75,000. They would of course be delighted to find an organisation willing to undertake the total costs, but appreciate that this is unlikely. However, any financial assistance would be gratefully received and they sure that it would prove a worthwhile investment, whatever the sum.
