BASKETFULS OF OPPORTUNITIES ON THIS FORTY-NINE VENUE SHAKESPEARE TOUR - ACT NOW!
Dean Taylor Productions seek sponsorship for their forthcoming Summer Shakespeare tour of forty-nine dates, taking place at prestigious venues across the north west of England between 16th June and 16th July, 2006. The packages offer opportunities for marketing, promotion and corporate entertainment. This will be the fourth year of the tour, further building on previous successes including Twelfth Night, As You Like It and the Merry Wives of Windsor. Average audience figures per season are 5-6,000. The audience at each venue is invited to come early, bring a picnic and folding chairs and enjoy the spectacle and the beautiful surroundings of venues such as Skipton Castle, Whalley Abbey and Turton Tower. Basket Sponsors are sought for each venue and will appear under the title of Principal Sponsor. Each basket sponsor will receive fifty free VIP tickets for guests to attend chosen performances. A full buffet with wine and refreshments will be included for all guests as well as a complimentary programme and an opportunity to dine with the cast. In summary, each basket sponsor will receive the following benefits: recognition as the Principal Sponsor for the duration of the production at the venue, generally two to three days (4-6 performances) accreditation on all flyers, posters, programmes, press releases and media coverage for that venue - the company can boast extensive radio and press coverage for past tours sponsor's information to be included on the performance and Events Northern websites, with links to the sponsor's own website the sponsor's logo to feature on all publicity flyers and posters for the whole tour (projected 10,000 initial print) fifty complimentary VIP tickets, to include food, wine, programme, traditional music from the period and mingling with the actors before the performance begins the sponsor's logo and an A4 quarter page advertisement to be included within the programme branding, such as the sponsor's banner, to be exhibited on each day of the performance at the preferred venue opportunity for a personal appearance by actors to generate publicity. The Comedy of Errors is everyone's favourite Shakespearean comedy/farce and will be performed outdoors by sixteen fully experienced, professional actors from across the UK, many with RSC/National Theatre experience. The play will be set in the mid-18th century with lavish costumes from The Royal Shakespeare Company. New musical compositions and traditional period music will be provided by Chris Gill (Burnley Philharmonic Orchestra), accompanied by the beautiful soprano voice of Serenna Wagner (Royal College of Music).
