WILL SPONSORS 'BE PREPARED' TO UNRAVEL THIS KNOTTY PROBLEM - AND HELP FUND SCOUTS' NEW BUILDING?
3rd Gee Cross (Holy Trinity) Scout Group want to replace their present building. It is an old ex-MOD timber building which when erected was expected to last twelve years. It has now been the group's headquarters for over forty years.

A new purpose-built headquarters is desperately needed to enable them to continue to offer scouting within their local community. The scout group is open for members aged from six years to fourteen years. Membership is available to both males and females and the group has forty-five young people as members, with fifteen adult leaders/helpers. The group's insurance cost alone each year is in excess of £2,500. This is a constant drain on their limited funds - and has led to the group having to increase their subscription fees to the young people.

A new building, which would be available for use by other community groups, would be much cheaper to run. And, by being able to accept other users, the group would be able to reduce subscriptions making scouting available to everyone, without a financial worry for membership. Young people from 6-14 would be able to experience a wide varity of actiities, both indoor and outdoor.

3rd Gee Cross (Holy Trinity) Scout Group has been active for the past sixty years. They will be seeking publicity for the new building which will, of course, feature any sponsors and their help given to achieve this project to keep scouting alive within the local community. Sponsors would be able to have their own adverts included with the building.

In addition they could benefit from any publicity that the group can generate showing how the sponsor has helped the local community.
