RECORD-CHASING 200 MPH DRAG TEAM SEEK A POWER BOOST FROM SPONSORS
Venom Racing is a fuel altered drag racing team. Team members held the European alcohol altered record (6.92 seconds for the quarter mile at 198 mph) for seven years until they decided to stop racing. The record has since been broken but the Venom team have now decided to make an attempt to regain it. The team is the same as before and all are working very well together. Venom Racing will be competing in seven meetings in the United Kingdom as well as at least one in Europe - and they will also be appearing at various shows throughout the year. Marketing potential with Venom Racing is huge, the team emphasise. The cars are the wildest, most entertaining form of motorsport known to man, reaching speeds of 100 mph in just one second, achieving speeds of 250 mph in seven seconds or less. The engines produce in excess of 4,000 horsepower. More information is available via the Venom Racing website or send an email for more information.
