BEING PARTY TO GARDENAFRICA'S EVENT COULD PUT SPONSORS IN THE MEDIA SPOTLIGHT
|
GardenAfrica is seeking adventurous sponsors for The Pleasure Garden, an unusual ticket-only event to be held over two nights (22nd/23rd September, 2005) in the recently restored gardens of Lauderdale House in Waterlow Park, Highgate.
The gardens are on the site of the original 17th century Pleasure Gardens - and GardenAfrica is grateful to Camden Council for allowing them to use the gardens for this special occasion. The event consists of two entertainment-based garden parties for 500 people each night. Their purpose is to raise much needed funds for GardenAfrica, a new charity which is establishing a sound reputation for its development work in sub-Saharan Africa.
But unlike many fundraising events there will be no speeches, charity auctions or tin rattling! These ‘Parties with a Purpose’ will be designed as large-scale installations, combining spectacular lighting, projections, special effects, sound installations, live music and pyrotechnics. The aim is to create a truly 21st century Pleasure Garden, with a wealth of entertainment “For All Lovers of Curious Performances”, including aerial acts, human statues, stilt-dancers and fire jugglers.
The organisers expect the event to attract extensive media coverage and can offer sponsors a full range of branding possibilities, including projected corporate logos integrated into the lighting design, as well as identification on handbills, tickets, posters and the commemorative programme. The event also offers opportunities for corporate hospitality with an exclusive area within Lauderdale House for sponsor-only VIP access.
Sponsorship could cover the whole event, or individual elements. If you would like to know more, they would love to hear from you.
