CURTAIN UP ON CHALKFOOT, WHO'LL MAKE THEIR MARK FOR ARTS EDUCATION SPONSORS
Chalkfoot is a touring community theatre company based in Margate, Kent (formerly known as Channel Theatre Company) - a long-established organisation with an excellent track record both with arts funding bodies and the communities it serves.

Chalkfoot works in three main areas: community touring - taking professional theatre to village halls throughout the south east and beyond (activities include outdoor productions, family productions, workshops and skills development); working with children and young people - creating innovative theatre experiences with pupils in primary and secondary schools (in areas such as Cornwall, Bexley and Thanet); and devising special, one-off projects for a range of audiences. Chalkfoot is supported as a Recurrently Funded Organisation by Arts Council England (South East) and has regularly received support over a number of years from a number of local authorities and county councils in the south east.

The organisation can offer a range of sponsorship opportunities and is also able to work with sponsors to create worthwhile projects within the sponsor's own target areas. Apply to Chalkfoot to view its massive archive of feedback from community audiences.

What Chalkfoot's village hall promoters say: "I just had to write and let you know how much your visits mean to our village", (Ardingly, Sussex); 'Having live theatre in Hawkhurst is a rare event, and the tickets were sold out. The audience was not disappointed', (Hawkhurst, Kent). What teachers say about Chalkfoot's participatory projects: 'The evaluations they have written about this experience have all been full of praise for everyone involved. I know they will take many positive memories with them for years to come', Teacher, Thanet Secondary School. 'An absolutely stunning performance which truly inspired the children', Teacher, Medway Primary School.
