TEMPEST FORECASTS A STORM OF FIRST CLASS PUBLICITY FOR TOURING CAR SPONSORS
Tempest Race Engineering will be entering a car in the 2005 SEAT Cupra Championship, a one-make series which will be supporting the British Touring Car Championship. Driving the car will be Oli Poyser, the reigning Legends Cars national and world champion.

The team for 2005 is essentially the same as the team that so successfully ran Poyser's car in 2004 under the Racetec banner. The nine round, eighteen race series will form part of the TOCA support race package on all mainland UK rounds of the 2005 Green Flag MSA British Touring Car Championship. This will ensure the 2005 SEAT Cupra Championship continues to race in front of large crowds at premiership motorsports events around the country and to benefit from the superb television package TOCA is able to offer.

Motors TV will broadcast each race live, with over 90 hrs of total coverage. The Championship will also be exposed to key audiences as part of the BTCC such as the Auto Express, Maxim, Evo, Bizarre and Mens Fitness magazine titles ... a combined annual readership of approximately 38 million. Sponsorship within this series provides corporate hospitality passes and paddock access for each of the BTCC and SEAT Cupra rounds throughout 2005.

It also provides access to the first class SEAT Cupra Championship Race Centre - a high profile central point of contact offering hospitality in the paddock whilst still maintaining and promoting each team's individual brand identity within their own paddock environment. SEATSport estimates a budget in the region of £75K for the season.

Advertising space on the car, the race awning and clothing would be allocated according to the input of sponsors.
