ENGLAND HANDBALL OFFERS SUN, SAND - AND SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
From 23rd to 26th June, 2005, Beach Handball will return to Weymouth, Dorset. Part of the European Beach Tour 2005, the tournament is organised by England Handball with teams competing to become the English Beach Handball Champions 2005.
Over 50 mini, junior, men’s and women’s teams took part in the last event, including teams from Belgium, Croatia, Liechtenstein, Sweden and Switzerland. There’s already interest in Weymouth’05 from Canada, Nigeria and Pakistan, say the organisation.
England Handball want sponsors be part of one of the UK’s most exciting summer events. They can offer sponsors an action-packed weekend, with hundreds of junior and senior players, thousands of spectators, cheerleaders, razamatazz, local television, radio and newspaper coverage and, of course, lots of fun and sun! Media coverage in 2003 ... BBC Television, BBC Radio Solent, ITV Television, Bridport News, Dorset Echo, Vaterland (Liechtenstein), Volksblatt (Liechtenstein) and Wessex FM.
The Weymouth International Beach Handball Championship is organised by England Handball, the National Governing Body for Handball in England. The event is organised in full co-operation with Weymouth and Portland Borough Council and their sponsors.
There are plenty of ways that sponsors can get more information about the Weymouth’05 International Beach Handball Championship. Take some time out to visit the organisation's website, with information and pictures from their previous beach handball championships. Alternatively you can check out the action by taking a look at their promotional DVD recorded at their 2003 event. For further information or to discuss sponsorship, sampling or corporate hospitality options, contact the tournament director or England Handball's partners, Weymouth and Portland Borough Council.
