BEATING BOWEL CANCER COULD ADD LIFE TO A SPONSORSHIP CAMPAIGN
Beating Bowel Cancer is a national charity dedicated to raising awareness, providing information and support for those affected by bowel cancer - the UK's second biggest killer cancer.
95 people are diagnosed every day with bowel cancer, young and old, men and women, and half of these will die. Yet it could be prevented if diagnosed early enough. The charity has a number of long-standing campaigns and events offering opportunities to sponsors such as the Loud Tie Campaign (31st January to 4th February, 2005), Love of Life Ball (8th October, 2005) and Bowel Cancer Awareness Month (April 2005).
It is also open to approaches from organisations interested in developing bespoke campaigns or projects that will help raise the awareness of the disease, highlight preventative measures and raise funds for the charity. Full information about Beating Bowel Cancer's work can be found on its website.
