SPONSORS COULD REAP A FINE CROP OF BENEFITS AT ruralnet|uk CONFERENCE
ruralnet|uk is a rural regeneration charity, with the overall goal of promoting a living and working countryside by helping local communities develop sustainable economies. It does this through research, information transfer and projects that put ideas into practice.
Much of the organisation's work concerns the appropriate use of ICTs. It uses ICTs to ensure that information reaches those that need it, that networks are developed and supported, and that projects achieve their full potential.
Sponsors supporting the annual ruralnet|uk conference (being held in Maidstone, Kent on 13th/14th October, 2004) will gain association with a key organisation in rural regeneration, as well as having their name seen at a high profile event attended by government ministers, rural agencies and community development workers.
This year’s theme, ‘Rethinking the Future for the Delivery of Rural Services’, is a hot topic of the moment, addressing urgent issues for service providers in isolated communities. Coupled with a keynote address from Home Office Minister, Fiona MacTaggart MP, this will no doubt be an eagerly anticipated event.
