NORFOLK FISHING TRIPS HOPE TO REEL IN A BIG SPONSOR
Norfolk Fishing Trips & Charter are currently seeking sponsors looking to invest in a high profile part of the leisure industry.

The company's customers can enjoy the sheer exhilaration of powering across the water, exploring the beautiful North Norfolk coastline, excellent offshore fishing or just lazing around sunbathing on deck. Norfolk Fishing Trips & Charter is based in Thornham. Set between Brancaster and Hunstanton on the North Norfolk coast, Thornham offers superb accommodation in holiday cottages and historic inns. The area is rich in wildlife and there are many unspoilt beaches that rate among the best in the UK. Trips normally depart from nearby Brancaster Staithe harbour.

The company has commissioned the building of a brand new catamaran that combines superb performance, sleek lines and luxurious interior with unsurpassed levels of stability, comfort and speed for boats in her class. She will be as much as forty times more stable than mono-hulled vessels making her safe and enjoyable for all. The boat will be a prominent feature in sailing and fishing magazines and, say the owners, will get the sponsor's company noticed in harbours and marinas. During the summer months she will sail from North Norfolk's busiest yet exclusive harbour at Brancaster Staithe, and, in the winter months, from the marina of the Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Club in Lowestoft.

A 12m vessel with a maximum speed of 35 knots, the new boat will be able to carry up to ten passengers in comfort with their own fishing stations. The vessel, which carries the latest sonar and fish-finding equipment, will benefit from a 150 mile Code of Practice (MCA) certificate. The principal sponsors will have their name and logo displayed prominently on the exterior of the boat. The vessel, which carries the latest sonar and fish-finding equipment, will benefit from a 150 mile Code of Practice (MCA) certificate. The principal sponsors will have their name and logo displayed prominently on the exterior of the boat, which will be appearing at the Southampton Boat Show. The costs of this five year appearance are being sponsored by Gemini work boats.

This opportunity, suggest the owners, would suit large corporate organisations wishing to promote or maintain a high-class image to the affluent outdoor type, in particular, the sailing community. Sponsorship need not necessarily be financial, as the company is looking for equipment, mechanical machinery and electronics suppliers to take part, perhaps by showcasing products on board. They are also seeking sponsors for their onboard fishing tackle shop.

They expect sponsors for this venture to come from the fishing tackle industry, outdoor clothing suppliers and the like. However, they would consider a business relationship with organisations from any sector that would bring mutual benefit.
