WARWICK GETS ALL PUMPED UP OVER JUNE CYCLING SPECTACULAR
Warwickshire County Council offer sponsors the opportunity to be involved with what promises to be the most exciting cycling event this year. The Warwick Cycle Races on the evening of Wednesday, 23rd June, 2004, will bring over 200 racing cyclists and hundreds of spectators to town, for a sporting spectacular. Cycle racing takes place on a closed 1km town centre circuit and includes four races catering for ages 8 to 80. All events are run under the rules and regulations of British Cycling.
The event forms part of the County Council's TravelWise campaign, which aims to encourage more people to cycle, walk and use public transport. A contribution of £1,500 would allow sponsors to be featured in all pre and post publicity, including full page features in local press
the event program, available on the day
a feature on event posters to be displayed in and around Warwick and Leamington Spa
company banners around the course on the day
mentions on TV/Radio coverage around the event.
There are also opportunities to have a ‘trade stand’ in Market Square from 12.00pm on the day. The organisers are keen to discuss further opportunities with interested sponsors.
