HERTFORD MUSEUM MAKES A CASE FOR ITS SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Hertford Museum is a gem of local history museum, situated in the historic market town of Hertford.
The museum is free admission and welcomes on average 20,000 visitors through its doors per year. Visitors can enjoy the lively series of exhibitions and events, a Jacobean-style garden and a wealth of objects relating to the history of Hertford and the surrounding East Hertfordshire villages.
Last year the museum embarked upon a pilot project to provide free broadband internet access to members of the public. This has proved a popular resource for all ages and abilities. Unfortunately, the original funding will cease in October 2004 and the museum is looking for sponsorship to keep this popular service going.
The estimated cost will be around £500 per year. Registered charity no.: 312142.
