London Soloists Chamber Orchestra is an exceptional collection of sparkling young musicians - most are competition prize-winners and each member has achieved a top-level international reputation. This virtuoso ensemble gives fine classical music concerts at London's South Bank Centre, St John's Smith Square and St Martin-in-the-Fields, with occasional performances at the Wigmore Hall and Barbican. The orchestra has toured Spain, Italy, Switzerland and France, given various festival concerts and broadcast on Swiss and French radio. With classical repertoire (Vivaldi, Mozart, Verdi) and themed series (Mostly Mozart, Totally Beethoven), success has developed by focusing on fine music, international musicians and a passionate concert delivery. London Soloists was established 1981 as a flexible group - quartet to symphony orchestra - using many prize-winning musicians. The Company is registered in England, limited by guarantee and is a registered charity. The orchestra's raison d'être is real musicians giving live performances, so they don't have recordings. Having concentrated on London promotions, they are now available for commercial hire: ensemble, chamber orchestra, symphony orchestra - function; film; open-air; festival; ballet tour ; small-scale/grand opera; UK/international.
