IMPERIAL COLLEGE SCHOOL OF MEDICINE BOAT CLUB DIAGNOSE NEED FOR SPONSORSHIP
The formation of the Imperial College School of Medicine Boat Club (ICSMBC) in 1997 from the two most successful medical rowing clubs in London has produced a club that is well nigh invincible.
ICSM has benefited from its close relationship with Imperial BC, and in the UH (United Hospitals) Bumps has been head of the river in every year of its existence. The club also has the highest placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th crews. ICSMBC is one of the biggest sports clubs at Imperial College, and welcomes allcomers - over half of its members tried rowing for the first time this year, and many people learn to row with the club. However, the club also contains many members who have rowed to a high standard elsewhere including ex-IC, UL and top school rowers. A number of sponsorship opportunities are available currently.
