Project eRally's high-powered battery of benefits could galvanise a sponsorship campaign
eRally is competing in all rounds of the 2014 Scottish Rally Championship in the top class with a Subaru Impreza.
"Jean Hay, our new novice co-driver, has been out testing with us and is proving to be a very enthusiastic natural talent in the role. As driver, I have previously competed in the British Rally Championship, winning the very competitive F2000 class at the International Ulster Rally.
"This year our aim is to get the crew competition-fit for what is coming next year: eRally, the UK's first fully electric, zero-emission high-powered rally car. Please see www.erally.co.uk for more details on the eRally Project. Also follow us on www.facebook.com/eRally for details on our Scottish Rally Championship campaign.
"Our budget for this season is £35,000, so anything you can contribute to make a dent in that is very much appreciated. For example, our personal safety equipment (race suits, helmets etc.) came to £2,490 this year. If you can cover that, we would be very happy indeed.
"We will be more than happy to carry your company graphics on the rally car, links on the website, Facebook and, if you have baseball caps for those BBC Scotland TV and Motors TV interviews, we'll be happy to wear them there, too! :)
"Obviously if your contribution could cover more than our safety kit, then we would provide a much larger area on the car for your graphics.
"For individual philanthropists, we can offer a visit to the Aberdeen Rally Centre for a tour of the rally car preparation facility and a high-speed ride on the test track".
