Sponsorship of elite swimmer Beth French could turn a drop in the ocean into a major wave of positive publicity
Beth French is an elite athlete without the elite bank balance ... so far, totally self-funded, she has trained and funded her solo swim of the English Channel and became the first British woman to swim the treacherous Kaiwi Channel in Hawaii - a feat that took twenty-four hours of non-stop swimming.
Her swim was filmed for Hawaiian Xtreme Sports TV. Beth is looking for sponsorship to take her to the next level: swims that have never been done before.
This summer, 2014, she is attempting to swim the twenty-six miles from Cornwall to the Scilly Isles - and her main drive is to tackle the Ocean Seven list in one year.
She discovered her steely determination and unique version of humour under duress by overcoming ME. Suffering from the age of ten years old, she was in a wheelchair at seventeen. For Beth, water is where the world makes sense and she is fond of saying (over and over on her marathon swims ...) "It's not over till I run out of water".
Sponsors can expect to be tweeted and blogged about, with corporate links on her website and sport media platforms, and she is an accomplished speaker about becoming your own hero, time and effort management and her 'life less ordinary'.
For these or other opportunities, please contact her. "Any drop in the ocean will help! Many thanks for your consideration".
