Media exclusives and celebs' backing for Sound:check's 'magic' live music/video events should speak volumes
Sound:check is a night of live music with a difference: artists perform in a manner that best suits the venue.
"During the sound check we film a song from each artist to provide beautifully shot and directed HD live music videos (to view these please visit our website). All profits from ticket sales go to the charity ChildHope.
"Sponsorship would provide the opportunity to be connected to a music event which champions raw talent and musical integrity.
"We are a very new concept. Our pilot event took place very recently - on March 2nd, 2013. Despite this we sold over five hundred tickets and had a special guest appearance from Willy Mason. Consequent reviews and feedback from the night were extremely positive, describing it as 'magic' and 'uplifting'. Each set performed is one-off because of the instrumental set-up.
"Therefore our videos and audio recordings are completely original. This is a big USP and one that is currently helping to make our videos viral. Due to the acoustics in the church venue and the sound team, the sound quality produced from our live performances is very high. We not only produce high quality live events but also videos that are not to be beaten in the quality of their audio and definition.
"We secured exclusives in Q Mag and Clash for two of the videos and they have also been recommended by Mercury Prize as well as being re-tweeted by celebrities as diverse as Jon Snow, Charlotte Church and The Fugees. The concept behind the videos is to provide honest but engaging live music videos that compliment the music.
"This is something we feel is currently lacking in the music industry and the excitement that they are currently generating supports this. We would be delighted to discuss sponsorship opportunities".
