Dressage title holder Jo Hamilton makes all the right moves for sponsorship, as she enters the international arena
Jo Hamilton (aged 35) is an eleven times National Dressage Championship title holder.
Jo is based in Scotland and travels throughout Britain training and competing with the goal this year to compete internationally.
Having spent a five year apprenticeship with Olympic Gold Medalist Carl Hester after leaving school, Jo returned to Scotland to train and compete her own and client's horses. She has now trained with Carl for seventeen years and travels monthly eight hours to Gloucestershire for up to five days of training. Jo also gets valuable training from Olympic judge Stephen Clarke.
She has produced both of her current competition horses from four year olds and it is hoped that they will both have international careers. Vivaldi V has just progressed into Small Tour, the level at which you can first compete internationally in Senior Competition.
Vivaldi has already had an outstanding career having won five national championships and coming second in another five championships, as well as having two Premier League wins. Vivaldi debuted successfully at Prix St.Georges level, having already gained qualification for regional championships. Hopes for this year are to gain placings at Premier League competitions and national championships and be selected to compete internationally.
Corchapin is only a six year old but is already showing great promise having won a national championship and coming second in four championships. He will compete nationally this year in six year old classes and at Elementary and Medium level.
For further information on Jo and her horses, please see Jo's website - www.jobarryequestrian.co.uk.
Any sponsorship would be greatly appreciated in order to enable training, travel, competing at shows or part ownership of future horses. Opportunities available to sponsors would include attending shows and training days, name on necessary clothing, merchandise, website and horsebox.
