The Mobility Roadshow's bumper event offers sponsors a great vehicle for reaching this key sector
This is a prime opportunity to reach thousands of end-user customers in the mobility and disability markets.
With spending power worth around £80 billion per annum, this is a market not to be ignored.
Registered charity Mobility Choice organises the annual national Mobility Roadshow, the UK's premier consumer mobility and independent lifestyle event for people with disabilities, their families and carers. Over three days it attracts around 10,000 visitors from all over the UK, Europe and beyond.
Since 1983 the Mobility Roadshow has provided a unique platform for people wishing to test drive adapted and specialist vehicles, either as a disabled driver or to test comfort and safety for a disabled passenger.
Non-disabled people would never consider buying a car without test driving first: why should disabled people not have that same opportunity? The Roadshow provides this facility, bringing together leading names in the motoring sector with a range of vehicles adapted with the latest hand controls, plus conversion specialists with wheelchair passenger or drive-from-wheelchair options.
In addition it provides a vast showcase of all that's new in the mobility market to enable an independent lifestyle - motoring accessories, wheelchairs and powerchairs, mobility and all-terrain scooters, all-ability cycles, products for the home, fitness and rehabilitation equipment, accessible travel and leisure, clothing and hundreds of gadgets and gizmos.
The Mobility Roadshow celebrates its thirtieth anniversary in 2013 with a bumper event at the Telford International Centre from 27th to 29th June.
A wide variety of sponsorship opportunities are available, from headline sponsorship to individual areas within the show, such as: visitor registration; test drive control; design zone; station shuttle service; mobility loans; information point, press office; sports arena; climbing wall and other activities; pre-event news bulletins; radio/TV advertising; exhibitors' reception; thirtieth anniversary gala dinner; plus banner sites and infrastructure support at the venue.
As well as the thousands of visitors who attend, there is the potential to reach thousands more through the Mobility Roadshow website and its dedicated Mobility Choice Motoring online portal, comprehensive product and service directory and active social media sites.
Full details of potential sponsorship opportunities are available on request.
