Dorset Magazine has launched the Dorset Food & Farming Awards 2013.

"This glamorous event will celebrate all that is good about our food producers, hoteliers, restaurateurs and most importantly farmers, with awards voted for by our knowledgeable readership. The awards will be launched in the November issue of Dorset Magazine, on sale 19th October.

"The nomination form will also be uploaded onto http://dorsetawards.greatbritishlife.co.uk and promoted to local media and on Dorset Magazine's social media pages.

"Once the closing date for nominations has passed, all categories will be shortlisted by our panel of judges and three finalists will then be selected in each category. The finalists will be notified and will undergo 'mystery shopper' judging. All category sponsors will have the opportunity to be involved with this in January. Each finalist and sponsor will be invited to join VIP guests and local food industry experts at the black tie evening awards ceremony which will be held at an exclusive Dorset venue in March.

"The venue will be published in the November issue. The winners will be announced during an awards ceremony, after a delicious three course, locally-sourced meal.
