Cancer Research Art Exhibition Edinburgh puts opportunities on display for caring sponsors

This annual exhibition and sale of original work has, over the past forty-three years, provided a platform for hundreds of skilled artists, jewellers and craftspeople.

The exhibition takes place in Edinburgh, over five days each November, and features over 1,300 original paintings, an ever-expanding range of jewellery to suit all tastes and a selection of beautiful handmade crafts.

Each year, the aim remains the same: to raise many thousands of pounds to help fund the invaluable work of Cancer Research UK in the search for successful treatments for cancer that touches almost every family in the land.

"The continued success of this exhibition would not be possible without the time and effort so freely given by the artists, volunteers and supporters. Each year an army of volunteers give their time to make it a smooth-running operation.

"Sponsorship is also vital to help cover the costs of running the exhibition and maximise the amount given to Cancer Research UK. In recent years we have been fortunate to have a major sponsor who has been willing to donate about £5,000 a year.

"We are now looking for new donors or sponsors and, in these difficult times, we would be happy with smaller amounts from several sources. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, no matter how small the donation, please contact us".
