Racing 4 Peace's Israeli/Palestinian duo pledge fast track success for sponsors of their Brands project
Israeli Aric Lapter and Palestinian Rasheed Nashashibi are seeking sponsorship to enable them to compete at the 2011 Formula Vee Festival at Brands Hatch.
Aric and Rasheed met at a go-kart track near Jerusalem five years ago and, united through their passion for motorsport, they founded the Racing 4 Peace initiative.
By racing on British soil as team-mates, they want to send a message of cooperation and peace. They require £3,000.00 so that they can cover the expenses of preparing a car which they'll share during the qualifying and during the heats.
In return for supporting this inspiring project, a prospective sponsor will receive plenty of media coverage. The festival receives national coverage from the motorsport press and from national television. Motorsport Vision has pledged a publicity campaign for the Racing 4 Peace team during the weeks leading up to the festival.
Aric and Rasheed have contacts within international news networks and they'll be invited to the event. Furthermore, a film crew will also cover the weekend shooting footage for a documentary about the team which it is hoped will be released in fifty countries upon completion.
Further information about this opportunity to be part of a great project is available on request.
