Benefits for sponsors of the first World Congress of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Andrology could be just what the doctor ordered

An educational World Congress - the first World Congress of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Andrology (WCOGA 2011), including interesting topical discussions, is to be held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London, from Sunday, 20th to Wednesday, 23rd March, 2011.

    Aim

The aim of the congress is to educate health professionals and health providers about how best to support women and men with disease conditions affecting both physical and mental health with social implications.

   Target Audience

WCOGA 2011 will be of interest to doctors - Obstetricians, Gynaecologists, Andrologists, General Practitioners, Psychiatrists, Urologists, Oncologists, Paediatricians and also Midwives, Nurses, Psychologists, Counsellors, Psychotherapists and Physical Therapists.

The congress will also be of interest to health providers, health policy makers, clinical scientists, students and retired health professionals.

The registration fee has been subsidised for certain categories with complimentary parallel courses or with a minimal fee (20th March) to encourage attendance despite the recession.

     Why Attend?

To improve knowledge of clinically important conditions with physical and psychoemotional impact in Obstetrics, Gynaecology (women's health) and Andrology (men's health), for their prevention or appropriate management; and for continuing professional development, accreditation, acquiring professional and life skills and learning about up-to-the minute findings regarding maternal and child health, cancer and pre-menstrual tension (see brochure).

What can sponsors provide and receive?

Sponsors can promote their organisation/products at a premier venue in central London. If they have products relevant to childbearing, adolescence, substance misuse, HIV/AIDS, subfertility, cancer or obesity, there will be further opportunity for reinforcement of ideas discussed and for familiarising delegates with their products. There would be opportunities for some sponsors without products to display and to provide information about support available for various issues, such as from the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Society (SANDS).

"With delegates attending from around the world, there would be a chance to create international awareness of your organisation, with the potential opportunity to build on this during the congress and after.

Philanthropists who believe in supporting such causes could consider Title Sponsorship and help in promoting the topics by providing support for sessions in which they are interested".

     How can they provide sponsorship?

A wide variety of sponsorship packages have been created to show support for the topics sponsors may be interested in and this can be shown by their contribution in any of the following ways: by providing single items to display their company logo (via branded stationery, badges, banners, programme advertisements, branded clothing for catering staff, etc.), by exhibiting at a stand or by choosing a package.

Worldwide coverage

"If your organisation can contribute further, you could consider a sponsorship package, which amongst other suggestions includes a stand to exhibit, publicity for your company logo through a link to the WCOGA 2011 website, complimentary exhibition space, your organisation's name and detail on the programme and free registration for Gold and Silver sponsorships, along with complimentary tickets for the Gala Dinner.

"The Title Sponsorship is available. A half page or full page advertisement in the supplement to the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology which has worldwide coverage may also be booked.

"We hope to have persuaded you to understand the need to exhibit and contribute to this global exchange in education and research so that our speakers are supported and delegates get more benefit from attending".
