Tapestry Theatre Company's new yarn weaves an impressive picture of PR and media possibilities for sponsorsParadise Lost is a new play written by actress and producer, Vicki McKellar.
It tells the story of six people bound together through partnerships, secrets and scandal.
It revolves around the complex relationships that people develop - unrequited love, troubled marriages and infidelity. Destruction strikes one evening when all is revealed as the group gathers around a Ouija board.
The play has already enjoyed a short but successful five night run at The Leicester Square Theatre in London. It starred the celebrity-turned-actress Abi Titmuss. A longer run is due for July 2011 at the same theatre, this time with Susie Amy (Footballers' Wives, 71 Degrees North) playing the role of lesbian Suzie.
Other actors appearing in the play are Vicki McKellar, Lloyd Morris (www.lloyd-morris.co.uk), Nadia Ostacchini (www.tricolore.org.uk) and two others to be confirmed.
The show will be directed by Kenneth Michaels, who is currently directing Melinda Messenger and Bobby Davro in Cinderella at Nottingham Theatre Royal.
Promotional
"We will be employing the same PR company we had the last time - PHA Media (www.pha-media.com). Thanks to PHA, we had articles in the Daily Mail, Daily Express, The Sun, Closer magazine and various regional newspapers and an interview with BBC Radio.
"The show will cost approximately £30,000. This will ensure that all actors, the director, PR company and sound and lighting people are paid sufficiently. A small percentage of profits will go to charity. Sponsors will have their name mentioned on all promotional materials, at the actual theatre itself and in any newspapers, magazines and television and radio appearances that we obtain".
Full details of sponsorship opportunities for sponsors and investors are available on request.
