Imperial College singers conduct search to acquire backing from sponsorsImperial College Union Choir is an unauditioned choir of about 120 voices, with a Chamber Choir of about thirty singers.
The choir is an eclectic mix of Science, Technology, Engineering and Medicine students and staff of Imperial College London, as well as college alumni.
They are conducted by Colin Durrant and managed by an annually elected committee of ten students.
Successes
"We sing an enormous range of repertoire and regularly tackle many of the great choral works.
"Last year's performances of Bach's St John Passion and Mendelssohn's Elijah were great successes and we look forward to singing Mozart's Requiem and Elgar's Belshazzar's Feast in the coming year.
"Every two years the choir tours internationally. Our tour this summer is to northern Poland and we are looking for sponsorship especially for this".
