London Wasps name CVS as Official Main Sponsor in "watershed moment"
London Wasps have announced a "significant" sponsorship deal with CVS, Britain's largest business rates specialists, who have become the Club's Official Main Sponsor ahead of the forthcoming season.
CVS boasts a position as the UK's fastest growing property services firm, with offices in Manchester, Bristol and London. The business is dedicated to reducing business rates for occupiers and owners of commercial premises across the UK and saving them money.
They work with brands including Patisserie Valerie, Ascot, Aston Martin and Persimmon and, with their business rapidly expanding, the company say they view their new partnership with London Wasps as a perfect way of generating national awareness and exposure for their services.
The CVS brand will sit on the front of all London Wasps playing shirts and the back of the players' shorts this season, as well as on replica shirts and training kit.
Chief Executive, Mark Rigby, also a former Wasps Captain and current Chairman of the Club, said: "CVS is Britain's leading business rates advisory firm. We're successful as we are unique. Unlike other property firms, CVS is 100% focussed on securing the largest business rates reductions for our clients and saving them money. It's a winning formula that delivers real results for our clients and sets us apart from the competition.
"Sponsoring Wasps is a watershed moment for CVS. Wasps' competitiveness and desire to win is a perfect reflection of our own brand values. I am genuinely excited about the future of London Wasps with new owner Derek Richardson and a talented team of players under the guidance of Dai Young. We are proud at CVS to be there at the start of this new era and are looking forward to a great season".
London Wasps CEO Nick Eastwood said: "We're delighted to welcome CVS on board as our Official Main Sponsor. There is a real synergy between our two brands as we are both making huge progress in our respective areas and we are both very ambitious about where we are headed, so it feels like a great partnership for both ourselves and CVS.
"In the current economic climate, business rates are a huge concern for all companies, and the work CVS do in reducing these is highly impressive. We're really looking forward to helping to drive their business forward and working with them this season".
CVS employs more than 275 staff across its Bristol, London and Manchester offices, with fifty-five RICS accredited surveyors making up CVS's National Rating team. It is one of the most successful business rates specialists in the UK, generating clients an average 9.2% reduction in business rates bills on successful appeals – an industry leading figure.
