SPIE refurbishes Bolton Wanderers' Media Suite in 3-year sponsorship deal
Bolton Wanderers FC is enjoying the benefits of a brand new media suite, following a makeover by sponsor, SPIE, the independent European leader in electrical and mechanical engineering and HVAC services.
The new look was recently revealed at club manager Neil Lennon's first press conference. As a sponsor, SPIE's branding will be visible on the backdrop of manager interviews until 2017 and bespoke ads. will appear in match programmes.
The refurbishment brings the quality of Bolton Wanderers' reception and media suite up to Premiership standards, the design having been planned with the potential of league promotion in mind. The club's media suite is used for all pre-and post-match media activities, including manager press conferences. Following the renovation the club also intends to hold pre-game media briefings in the facility.
During the re-fit, SPIE's Facilities Services division installed a new, energy-efficient lighting scheme in order to improve illumination quality, making the suite lighter and brighter. New flooring, a fresh media desk area and a bespoke, raised manager's desk were also fitted.
Jenni Grant, Facilities Co-ordinator at Bolton Wanderers, commented: "SPIE was the only partner for this project. We wanted to work with a supplier that had a strong local presence and could offer a specialist range of services, from electrical installation to facilities management. SPIE continues to work with the club beyond this re-fit, carrying out barrier and turnstile maintenance at our Stadium and Training Ground".
Mark Robison, Commercial Manager for Facilities Services Northern at SPIE UK, added: "Bolton Wanderers is a progressive and proactive club, an attitude that fits the SPIE approach perfectly. Feedback from the club as well as the media has been extremely positive; journalists, as well as the Bolton management, have both noted and are pleased with the improvement in the club's facilities, feeling comfortable and happy when working at the ground.
"We look forward to continuing our relationship with Bolton Wanderers, and hopefully supporting them when they return to the Premiership".
Renaud Digoin Danzin, Strategy and Development Director of SPIE UK, commented: "Our work with Bolton Wanderers reflects the ongoing expansion of our service offering.
"SPIE's combination of cross-sector expertise and local support make it an ideal partner for businesses in the leisure and stadium sector and this has played a significant role in our successful relationship with the club. We wish them all the greatest success as the season progresses".
